Passing laws granting technology rights of all extraterrestrial-being derived technologies of past, present or future contact and is the property of the citizens of the United States. Since the government claims there has been no contact, lets all support this law, since there should be no problem creating it ...right? Create legislation to grant all citizens income derived from these technologies, should we get it in the future or already have it. This property will be or has been discovered and expoited by our tax payer money anyway. It is our legal property and chattel, as well as intellectual property if existing now or in the future. Biotechnology, materials technology and other rights should belong to the people. Create a rule now, whether we have it, or if SETI finds it.
