The "Citizens United" decision by the Supreme Court has enabled further corporate dominance of the political process in the United States. Since corporations are, by law, required to act for the financial benefit of the shareholders, they are typically unable or even forbidden to act in the best interests of the country. This disastrous decision needs to be counteracted as soon as possible. Even better, would be to establish that corporations are NOT persons, and do not a priori deserve the same rights as citizens of the US.
