Propose legislation to eliminate publicly funded retirement and or pension plans for those serving in the House or Senate. Too many public servants are going on to work for special interests and lobbying firms taking advantage of leverage gained at the expense of tax payers. Eliminating retirement plans from those in Congress/Senate would also discourage career politicians on both sides and put them on a financial footing more closely aligned with those that they serve.
