The recent events nearly leading to political and economic disaster in these United States and around the world have brought to light the effects of Gerrymandering on the voice of the people. We must address this issue once and for all, lest we again have a minority opinion holding our nation hostage and pushing us toward ruin. In the hopes of sanity reigning in our Congress after shuttering the government for 16 days and nearly defaulting on the national debt. We urge the President and a bipartisan alliance to take up legislation preventing Gerrymandering and preserving and promoting the true voice of the people.
