Term limits were rightly placed on the office of President and should be extended to all members of the US House of Representatives and US Senate. Many have held their office longer than many middle aged Americans have been alive which allows them to create their own fiefdoms entrenching themselves in elected positions to which they believe they are entitled and sometimes claim to own. This is exactly what the framers of our Constitution fought against.
I believe all members of Congress should be limited to a lifetime maximum of 12 years service in the US Congress and should not be allowed into any non elected US Government position for a period of no less than 10 years. They will then be forced to live under the laws which they imposed upon the rest of the citizens of our country.
