Propose legislation limiting corporate campaign contributions to the individual $2300 limit.

Created by D.P. on September 24, 2011

Public interests and common sense have lost their way in Washington DC. As it stands right now, corporate and special interests are legally able to spend unlimited amounts of money funding political campaigns.

Funds are received both directly and through dubious organizations created solely to obscure the source of soft money contributions. Often, these sources include foreign governments, foreign corporations, and others interested solely in manipulating our democracy.

End the gamesmanship.

The President should propose legislation limiting corporate campaign contributions to the individual $2300 limit, and ban the practice of soft money altogether.
