When Boards and officers of corporations take exhorbenant pay and compensation it leaves the corporation in an unfavorable business standing. Any management level personnel of a corporation (not a sole proprietorship because they have all the liabilty on their shoulders) has no more personal liability or risk than the average employee of that corporation, therefore, they should not be allowed to take more than 25 times the median salary of the average employee of that corporation in compensation. This does not limit any free enterprise. If an officer wants more money they simply need to do better in manageing the corporations affairs so that everyone can see pay increases when they do. Eliminate golden parachutes, prosecute management for failure. Our corporations need our protections.
