All the below signatories request the Executive Branch of the United States Government to pursue legislation that would remove the income cap for FICA contributions so that all citizens pay this flat tax equally from all of their income, instead of just the poor and middle class. Currently, the wealthiest citizens only pay FICA tax on their "middle class" level income. However, as life has no guarantees, they should pay based upon all of their income as they may be wealthy today but a pauper tomorrow.
Additionally, this change would make the FICA programs solvent for far longer than as currently funded. We are all citizens in this together.
