Currently small scale farmers who produce organic goods for local markets are held to the same regulations as the multi billion dollar farming corporations. This causes them to spend more time filling out government regulatory documents than farming.
Propose legislation that recognizes farmers based on volume and places where they sell their goods instead of a general “farming” category.
