Move to massively increase penalties for white collar crimes to levels that may actually function to dissuade people and/or corporate entities from committing such acts, rather than maintain the current environment where many such misdeeds are weighed in terms of legality vs. profit. In comparison to massive personal penalties for citizens committing much lesser crimes, the slaps on the wrist that many white collar criminals receive is a clear indication that our government does not take these crimes seriously. Show us this is not the case.
