Propose a plan to balance the budget in 10 to 20 years, because as the president said, "Budget deficits are unAmerican."

While a senator, the president said that budget deficits are un American. We, the undersigned, completely agree. The American people deserve to see the presidents plan to end this un American act of running massive deficits within a decade, or if that's not possible, within two decades. These deficits are essentially stealing from our children. We want to see what the president would do if he could get exactly what he wants without the interference of congress. This could at least be a starting point for negotiations that may lead to balanced budgets as well as give us a good idea of the presidents priorities. The president owes it to the American people to tell us how he would end this "un American" practice of running massive deficits which will haunt us for generations.
