propose the repeal of Taft-Hartley and a revamped federal labor law that supports collective bargaining for all workers.

Created by N.B. on March 06, 2012

Over the past 30 years, union membership has decreased, especially in the private sector, as a percentage of total workforce. One major reason for this is the existence of Taft-Hartley as well as a lack of positive governmental support for union membership and collective bargaining for all eligible workers. Widespread unionization in the private sector is a key to re-creating a broad, prosperous middle class.
