Proposal to tax religious institutions that directly or indirectly violate their tax exempt status by interference in the political system, this includes clergymen running for office without relinquishing the title, religious organizations influencing political thought through worded sermons against social issues (gay marriageexample and planned parenthood debates as a notable examples)

While a given institutions members has rights to express these ideas, they should do so without the endorsement of a given religious or various religious institutions unless said institutions decide to pay taxes. As they enjoy tax freedom, they also Should lose their political voice. This currently is not enforced.
