Due to the inability of Congress to reach bipartisan compromises, term limits should be imposed. This will allow new members of Congress to have their ideas and opinions heard, without fear of reprisal from leadership that have served far too long and have lost touch with their constituency. This will also allow fresh infusion of new ideas to be introduced to Congress, since it will provide citizens who know what life is currently like for the average American a greater voice, and give them the opportunity to express what does and does not work.
