Congressional service has become a career for many of our senators and representatives. Our Founding Fathers never intended for congressional representation to be a career. Their intention was for citizens to serve and then go back to their former life so that government had a continual flow of new people and ideas.
Reasonable term limits for senators and representatives should be proposed via constitutional admendment.
