We are calling on the government to act on behalf of the american people to monitor, assess, and evaluate many of the new advancements within the fields of Artificial Intelligence, and Automation. The government has a responsibility to make sure that these new technologies do not makes us more vulnerable to cyber attacks both domestic and foreign. The government also needs to make sure that these new technologies do not impede job growth or deplete the job market across all disciplines. Finally the government needs to make sure that if these technologies promote safety, that said technology cannot be compromised at a 99.9% confidence level. If any of these are violated the government must ask the firm or developer to either augment their design or withdraw the technology completely.
