Proposing a higher threshold for an increased tax on the wealthy boosting taxes only on those making more than $500,000.

Created by D.C. on December 04, 2012

The proposed cut-off amount for tax cuts at $250,000 per family and $200,000 single is preposterous. How can a family on $250,000 considered wealthy if it includes one or two dependents? A single individual earning $200,000 would be considered wealthy since he or she does not have dependents to take care of. Is the $50,000 extra for families considered wealthy??? I propose and agree with Warren Buffet who disagrees with President Obama on the cut off amount for tax cuts. He would set the cut-off at $500,000 a year, rather than the $250,000 threshold as advocated by the president.
