We are requesting that all officers involved in the premeditated murder of Alton Sterling be prosecuted and given maximum sentences. This is an act of terror and abuse of authority. We need to hold the officers of the law to a higher standard. The officer that shot and killed Alton Sterling was not in fear for his life, had no just cause to arrest him, and did not follow protocol. For this we are asking the case be treated as a hate crime and maximum sentences be imposed.
