We all know that the 2008 recession was caused by Wall Street and banking elites who purposely twisted and distorted investments to their own benefit and to the detriment of the investors who trusted them. And yet not a single one has been prosecuted. We like to look down our noses at 3rd World corruption, yet the enormity of the American financial crisis makes them pale in comparison. Uncounted millions continue to suffer while Wall Street oligarchs park Lear Jets in their driveways. If the Obama Administration fails to prosecute any of these people this will place a black mark on his legacy that will eclipse any of the good he has done. It is way past time to vigorously bring to justice the criminals who cause this crisis.
