Prosecute bankers who commit fraud and break up the too-big-to-fail banks.

Created by J.L. on November 10, 2011

We the People ask that the Executive Branch pursue criminal complaints against banks and bankers whose fraudulent activities caused the economic collapse in 2008. And we ask that the too-big-to-fail banks be broken up.

Banking institutions deemed "too big to fail" defrauded the American people of hundreds of billions of dollars in the lead-up to the greatest financial disaster the world has seen since the Great Depression. Yet, according to New York Times reports, the banks and the bankers are being let go with a slap on the wrist. Instead of going to jail, bank representatives give empty promises not to break the law in the future -- promises they have often made and broken in the past.

We the People demand justice. Prosecute bank fraud and abuse. Break up the TBTF banks.
