prosecute Bush administration officials who condoned, ordered, and/or oversaw the torture of prisoners and detainees.

Created by E.E. on September 23, 2011

The Bush administration's systematic use of torture is well-documented. Throughout the so-called War on Terror, the administration was known to use sleep-deprivation, shackling, insects, waterboarding, and other cruel and unusual techniques on detainees and prisoners. Over 100 detainees died in US custody after being subjected to torture.

These methods are illegal, immoral, and ineffective. Their use has sullied America's reputation and safety.

Those who condoned or engaged in torture must be brought to justice.
