Prosecute Don Blankenship for Felony Murder

Created by R.W. on November 17, 2015

Don Blankenship, CEO of Massey Energy at the time of the Upper Big Branch mining disaster, is currently being tried for violations of workplace safety laws. If convicted, he will serve a maximum of less than one year and thirteen days for each of the 29 people he killed in that mine.

That is unacceptable. Once convicted, Blankenship must face justice for all the lives he took. He needs to be charged with felony murder for each of the 29.

We can no longer tolerate people committing offenses and hiding behind corporations to prevent their prosecution.
