HSBC has funded terrorism, accepted drug money from drug cartels and has no way of claiming ignorance to their acts against our country. To claim that the bank is too large for prosecution does not excuse taking no action against them. Every person/organization must be treated as equals to prevent too much power in the hands of a single entity. No one must be above the law and there are always some measures that can be taken against the company without the bank failing and bringing the economy with it. What is to stop them, or any other bank from doing this again? If nothing is done we condemn ourselves to further atrocities and the law is weakened because of those who clearly have too much power. We ask that the government becomes just as creative as the banks and provide justice.
