Brandon Raub, a former U.S. marine, was abducted from his home on Friday, August 17th by FBI agents and assisted by local police officers. Brandon was abducted without due process or warrant for arrest and was taken to a psychiatric hospital due to controversial Facebook posts.
When asked about the arrest on the phone, the sergeant said he was being evaluated for terrorist activities.
Lawyers claim that this wasn't an arrest but rather a routine psychiatric evaluation based on suspicion of severe PTSD. If he had been taken out of his home voluntarily, this would have been reasonable, but he was taken out despite his ability to deny consent.
The FBI agents and police officers who approved this action should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
