George W. Bush and Dick Cheney have committed horrendous crimes against humanity through direct oversight of excessive violence and torture. Under the pretense that an individual is a "terrorist" aided by avoidance of the subject in the media through misinformation, they have gotten away with it. However, under a new administration with America's reputation on the line as defenders of freedom and justice, we must not allow these criminals to go unpunished. Various nations around the world have already stated that if they enter their country, they may be prosecuted for the infractions they knowingly committed against humanity. It would set an exceptional example of our commitment to protect freedom and the rights of all. President Obama must reevaluate his decision to not prosecute them.
