What happened in Florida is reminiscent of crimes that were committed and led to the passage of the Civil Rights act. It is time for the FBI to go in and prosecute this tragic murder.
In that same state in Jacksonville Marissa Alexander, an African American woman, got 20 years for firing a warning shot to keep her allegedly abusive husband away. "She told police it was to escape a brutal beating by her husband, against whom she had already taken out a protective order." She was denied the stand your ground defense.
George Zimmerman followed and then fought with a young unarmed African American male. Then shot him when things didn't go his way. It is a disgrace to this country that he was found not guilty. Please bring justice to this young man and his family.
