Prosecute government agents who commit crimes, not those who expose crimes.

Created by B.G. on September 06, 2012

After President Obama was elected, he declared that we should "Look forward, not backward" with regards to crimes (including torture, warrantless searches, and detention without trial) committed under the previous administration. However, the Obama administration has since prosecuted people who have exposed these crimes (such as John Kiriakou), while using the State Secrets Privilege to block prosecution of anyone who committed these crimes. The "Look forward, not backward" mantra is used to protect criminals, but not those who expose crimes, when it should in fact be the reverse, if this is to be the logic at all.

We request that the government cease prosecution of any whistleblowers of crimes committed by government agents, and commence prosecution of those who committed these crimes.
