In the last decade, too many criminals, stealing billions of dollars from the American populace, have gone unpunished simply because of their collar's color. These banking establishments are NOT too big to fail. Prosecuting them will NOT destabilize the economy. What WILL damage our beliefs in this country and its financial markets is the knowledge that these men and women have the government's blessing to steal from our accounts and sabotage the very country we slave to support.
The government's supposed 'record' financial settlements with these establishments are paltry. They are meaningless. And without criminal prosecution, these men will continue to ravage any gains we make toward a brighter future.
Unless we want more people to follow suit, we must show them the consequences.
