We the American people demand that you as the President of our nation restore our honor and dignity that we so hold dear. We as a nation have been disgraced by the actions taken by the CIA and related organizations.
Torture is not ok. What once I considered the antithesis of American culture is now very much American. I will not stand idly by while our nation is being soiled by the disgraceful actions of dishonorable men.
The actions as described in the recent report detailing the enhanced interrogation practices are both illegal in our country and under international law. We cannot give these people a pass. We cannot pardon them.
We must take that first step in solving this problem. We must hold these individuals accountable from the TOP DOWN. Lest we become the terrorists.
