In March of 2013, during a committee meeting Senator Ron Wyden asked the Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, whether the NSA “collects any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans?” Clapper responded "No, sir..... not wittingly."
In a light of the revelations brought forth from documents released by Edward Snowden and actual admission from the US government, it has been revealed that James Clapper had complete knowledge of NSA programs that spy on millions, making his testimony under oath in 2013 willfully false. As such, James Clapper is guilty of perjury and should be prosecuted to ensure that those who have the most power in our society should receive the same treatment as those who hit balls with sticks.
