Rape and violence against women ruins the lives of the victims, but the perpetrators seldom pay for their crimes, even when found guilty.
We demand that judges who give little or no jail time for these crimes be immediately removed from the bench, and based on their sentencing of the perpetrator and the judges be tried and found guilty of Felony Public Endangerment and Domestic Terrorism, forfeit all rights to benefits, be fined and jailed to the maximum allowed by law with no chance of parole.
We further demand that the use of victim blaming by lawyers be outlawed and that those who employ this defense be banned from practicing law for the rest of their lives.
