Without warnings or demands, a Columbus Ohio police officer decided to fire at a disabled veteran on his door steps. He described the veteran as an aggressive Black male. After dropping his weapon after it jammed, he ordered the veteran to 'get back'. He then fired a taser into the back of the veteran. Numerous false statements were made including that the elderly veteran was drunk and had beaten his wife. Unable to prove this, the veteran was denied access to his VA medicines, medical records and reading glasses. Forced to spend 4 days in jail, the police declined to investigate the actions of the police, their false statements and brutal torture of the veteran. This petition requests the FBI and Justice Department investigate the case of Howard Harris vs. The Columbus Police Dept
