On Thursday March 17th, Mr. Glen Grays, a US Federal government postal worker, was arrested by plainclothes NYPD police officers, while delivering mail in Brooklyn New York. Mr. Grays was charged for alleged disorderly conduct. By all accounts released so far, Mr. Gray is a law-abiding citizen, and a hardworking employee of the US Federal Government, arrested while carrying out his official duties. While it may be difficult to prove that Mr. Gray's civil rights were violated, if unwarranted, the arrest would clearly constitute a violation of a federal law meant to protect the safe delivery of mail across the United States.
