Whereas 18 U.S. Code Chapter 113C explicitly defines torture, allowing for the torturers and those who conspired to torture to be punished.
Whereas the actions of six Fullerton Police officers on July 5, 2011, constitutes the use of torture.
Whereas murder and torture are two separate charges covering two distinct events, this does not constitute double jeopardy.
We call for the DoJ to indict and prosecute the six Fullerton, California, police officers involved in torturing to death Kelly Thomas on the night of July 5, 2011, under 18 U.S. Code Chapter 113C . Given the lack of remorse shown, we believe the death penalty should be pursued.
We call for the DoJ to indict and prosecute all officials involved in conspiring to cover up, conceal, and who did nothing to halt the torture session
