Prosecute those who ordered TORTURE

Created by A.A. on September 23, 2011

More than 100 people died in US military and CIA custody as a direct result of torture. Many of those deaths were even classified as "homicide" on the death certificates.

Between 2002 and up to today, the US government created an institutionalized and systemic program of torture, in violation of US and international law and treaties.

In the second world war, the US executed Japanese officers for the *same* acts of torture.

Allowing torture to happen in our name is a stain on this country and a huge setback for human rights worldwide.

Prosecute those who wrote the orders, who covered up and who created flimsy legal justifications, regardless of who they are and how high up they are/were. The rule of law starts at the top, not the bottom of society.
