To model our political system upon speculations of lasting tranquility, is to calculate on the weaker springs of the human character.
---Alexander Hamilton
A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. The Constitutional Bill of Rights says it best, and we must protect the rights of the people to defend themselves from the enemies of today. This includes firearms, magazines, clips, ammunition, and suppressors. A modern enemy, foreign and domestic, is armed without regard to law, and so we must adequately allow the law-abiding citizens to protect themselves and others. The ability to self security is a necessary liberty of the American people.
