Protect the 2nd amendment by requiring firearms and owners be equipped with a computer chip to id and activate weapon.

Created by R.P. on January 11, 2013

By requiring owners of firearms to have a chip on their person, law enforcement would be able to identify when firearms are within a specific area (i.e. Schools, Hospitals, etc) and enhance protection in the area. The chip would activate the firearm and transmit that the weapon is active along with its location.

Responsible firearm owners should endorse this as they will still be able to have their weapons as collectibles and for personal safety. Irresponsible owners will be easily identified.
