Protect 911 calls as personal medical information and stop them from being broadcast over the airwaves and the Internet

Created by J.W. on October 30, 2014

Given the current emphasis on our rights to privacy, isn't it time we stopped broadcasting audio recordings of people's 911 calls?

Why is it acceptable for us to listen to medical and emergency calls? They often feature people dealing with the most challenges moments of their lives.

These calls should be treated like any other interaction of a medical nature and be kept private between the person in need and the professionals they have reached out to.
