The Walt Disney Company just laid off 250 Aneican citizens and replaced them with H-1B visa holders, according to the New York Times - http://mobile.nytimes.com/2015/06/04/us/last-task-after-layoff-at-disney... Though the H-1B visa program is not supposed to adversely impact American workers, these workers were forced to train their replacements before being laid off - a clear violation of the spirit of the law.
This abuse of our immigration system is causing Americans to lose their jobs. We call upon the administration to open an investigation into companies who use the H-1B visa and ensure they are not using the system to displace American workers.
