American veterans who served this country right now are committing suicide at a rate of 22 per day, according to the Department of Veteran Affairs- yet, veteran mental health care is yet another fight we ask them to fight. Regardless of your party affiliation, caring for the mental health of our veterans should be a priority- as it should eventually be for our entire country. Please fund an active campaign to make it easy for veterans and their families to get the care they need, and begin to reach out, actively, to see what American veterans need.
