Protect the American women getting sexually harrassed by their spouses!

In America,
1. 25% of women who have been in a relationship have experienced physical/sexual violence
2. 14-25% of married women experienced forced sex at least once
3. 1/3-1/2 battered women are raped by their partners
4. Girls are 4 times more likely to experience family-related sexual/physical violence
5. According to Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape, it is illegal in all 50 states for a husband to rape his wife but only 17 states completely abolished marital rape exemption. This limits the seriousness of the problem where a husband could be punished
6. Women who are violated by their spouses have harder time to recover from trauma
Laws should be fixed to treat marital rape as serious as the stranger rape to prevent all of the sexual/physical violence and to punish the assailants
