New gun regulations may prevent more guns from being sold, but nothing short of a revision of the second amendment will make all these existing weapons any less deadly.
Rather than limit or try to change the regulations that dictate what kind of deadly weapon we can own, why not create procedures to monitor, regulate, and restrict the sale of ammunition?
Making the bullets less accessible can make both existing and future purchased guns less likely to be used for violent crimes, while still upholding the rights provided in the second amendment.
