Protect the right of Americans to freely display the American flag on American soil!
We are requesting a bill that would protect the right of American citizens to display the American flag (in any form) or colors of the American flag, in any place public or private which is located on land governed by the United States of America. The 9th Circuit in California has upheld the right of a California high school to forbid students from wearing t-shirts with American flags.
The civil rights movement has backfired, and the children and grandchildren of those who fought for our civil rights in the past are now unable to wear clothing displaying their own country's flag to school. We need enough signatures to sway a senator to sponsor the bill so that it may be passed to the senate.
