As users begin to experience increased efforts by online corporate interests (i.e., Netflix) to convince users that they MUST have faster speeds than they are allowed, etc., there is the danger that individuals will be pressured to support efforts to remove net neutrality without being aware of what they are doing.
As the FCC is an independent agency, we the people, expect the office of the POTUS to protect us from predictable efforts to diminish our civil rights and capacity to communicate freely and with force as individual citizens. We urge you to appoint a citizens' committee to provide alternatives to the moves that will inevitably emerge from highly funded corporate interests. We further implore the POTUS to keep the public informed on these efforts.
