I would like to petition the Obama Administration to better define tenants at foreclosure's rights in order to empower and inform citizens who are tenants. Specifically addressing the following items:
Tenant's leases and their validity once the unit has been foreclosed.
Giving tenants the knowledge unit is officially foreclosed, and where they can find information about their rights.
Giving tenants better access to information that clearly defines their rights.
Giving tenants the power to terminate their lease when the unit is foreclosed.
Clearly defining what should happen to the security deposit once the unit forecloses.
Making any owners, property managers, and banks disclose when the property changes possession.
Making any landlord disclose an impending foreclosure.
