protect and maintain unchallenged the American citizen's constitutional second amendment right to keep and bear arms.

Created by A.T. on December 17, 2012

Citizens, remember the words of Samuel Adams, who proposed that the Constitution, "Be never construed to authorize Congress to infringe [...] or to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms ..."

Our Constitutional Right (not privilege!):
A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

“Let the American youth never forget, that they possess a noble inheritance, bought by the toils, and sufferings, and blood of their ancestors...." –Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution, 1833

This petition is tantamount to protection of the Constitution against infringement by Congress - a recognition that there is no such authority over our right.
