protect Bristol Bay, Alaska, and rule against the Pebble Mine industrialist corporation to develop or proceed further.

Created by J.B. on June 24, 2013

The Bristol Bay and wild salmon runs are integral parts of the entire wildlife survival in this vast wilderness, and all the resident communities.
The people, and salmon, and all the species that rely on the waters of the Bay, have thrived for thousands of years.

Plans for the Pebble Mine will destroy this, and so much more, that cannot even be reckoned. The damage will be incalculable, despite the mining company's attempts to deny or downplay these real consequences.

The consequences and losses will be huge and irreversible.

The need for jobs, and corporate mining interests of outsiders cannot be allowed to buy out the heritage of the people and life in one of the last wildernesses in the world.

This can be stopped with a President veto and help from all forward thinking individuals.
