There are too many stories of teachers, aides and schools hurting and even killing autistic and/or other disabled children. The Department of Education hides evidence, allows its employees to lie, threatens parents and even ask Child Protective Services to harass parents.
Take an honest look at the different cases of children who have ran away from schools (perhaps only legal cases available) and no one cares to do anything about them. Just ask the parents of Avonte Oquendo who has been missing since 10/04/2013, after running away from the Riverview School in Long Island City, Queens, NY.
In all, law enforcement cannot do anything while our children are terrorized, abused and hurt.
Please fix a broken system and give tax credits for homeschooling, the only means to rescue our children.
