Protect citizens from gun violence by purging all reference or depiction of gun violence from American culture

Congress should enact legislation to protect citizens from gun violence by purging all reference or depiction of gun violence from American culture; declaring it a criminal offense to broadcast or publish any reference or depiction of gun violence in the public and private media; punish offenders by imprisonment, heavy fines or civil commitment to re-education camps; issue regulations to aid in the enforcement;  and impose a tax on internet and cell phone usage to pay for the enforcement.
