We the people are in need of legislation against the apparently increasing level of police violence toward citizens in America. Local law enforcement officers are continually gaining attention for overreactive and violent defensive AND offensive actions against peaceful protesters, docile citizens being taken into custody, and innocent bystanders.
Furthermore, local and state governments consistently and ludicrously confirm the validity of these actions, as well as upholding the prosecution of and stealing from those who took the opportunity to record these violent actions in a noble attempt to expose this totally unacceptable and unconstitutional behavior.
Give us the protection explicitly guaranteed by the constitution against these aggressive acts by government against its citizens!
